Interior Designer

Educational Interior Designers support the Senior Interior designer with the marketing, conceptual creation, design principles, and practical development of High Impact Learning Environments, unique learning solutions developed for our K-12 clients.


  • Work in collaboration with the Senior Interior Designer on large scale projects and independently on smaller scale projects; selecting and documenting furniture, finishes and materials to create K-12 High Impact Learning Environments.
  • Develop space plans and technical drawings to aid in the specification and procurement process.
  • Create presentation materials in collaboration with the Senior Interior Designer and Learning Environment Specialist to convey design intent to customer.
  • Coordinate regularly with Interior Designer and Learning Environment Specialist on all phases of the project.


  • AA/BA in Interior Design required
  • Effective verbal/written communication skills.
  • Project programming skills and knowledge of space planning methods.
  • Critical thinking, creativity, and team building skills.
  • Knowledge of specifying products and interior finishes.
  • Knowledge of construction, building systems, ADA, Life Safety codes, architectural details, and furnishings


  • 4 to 6 years’ experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD required, Revit or CET preferred, Photoshop, 3DS Max, and Sketchup knowledge a plus
  • Knowledge of educational products
  • Experience working with Sales Reps
  • Productivity in a work from home and work in field environment
  • Travel required- approximate 20%
